It’s been a year since our Century 21 Tri-Cities office had to close our office doors to the public during the age of COVID-19. To say it was unprecedented times was an understatement. As many others felt, there were a lot of mixed emotions, but at the forefront of it all was hope. We were capable of adapting and evolved to overcome any obstacle we faced. A year later, we had one of the most successful years in our brokerage’s history – and the real estate industry as a whole performed surprisingly well, too.
According to Market Watch, real estate represents one of the biggest chunks of U.S. households’ net worth, if not the biggest. So is it unusual for this asset class to perform this well during a pandemic?
